Is your business eligible for the Resurgence Support Payment?

The Resurgence Support Payment is a new payment scheme launched to assist small businesses to cover expenses as wages and fixed costs, when there is move to Alert Level 2 or above for a week or more.

The last day for applications is 22 March 2021 to apply through myIR.

It is not a loan, so it does not need to be repaid. The payment includes a core per business rate of $1,500 plus $400 per employee - up to a total of 50 FTEs ($21,500). Firms that experience a 30% drop in revenue over a 14-day period will be eligible.

Revenue is compared to a typical 7 day period in the 6 weeks prior to the change in alert level. You do not need to be a business in Auckland to receive this support.

Businesses and organisations (including sole traders) must have been in business for at least 6 months.

To find out if your business is eligible and calculate the amount you would be entitled to, visit the Inland Revenue page on The Resurgence Support Payment and talk to us. We are here to help.
