Further COVID-19 consultancy funding available
You may be eligible for funding to support your business recovery and repositioning.
This week the government announced a $40 million funding extension for the Regional Business Partner (RBP) Network. Canterbury businesses are now eligible for up to $5000 worth of professional advisory services to support business recovery.
Kendons is proudly registered to provide the following services offered under the COVID-19 Business Advisory Fund:
As we are a registrant, you, our clients, can apply for up to $5,000 + GST to cover the cost of our fees to support the recovery and repositioning of your business..
For those that have previously accessed the services, the same criteria and application process applies. For those that have not, we encourage you to take advantage of the scheme.
How to apply for the Business Support Subsidy
Your business needs to be registered for the Regional Business Partners Network which can be done easily online here.
If you are already registered with the RBP Network and have an appointment booked with an advisor, then you do not need to do anything further.
If you are already registered with RBP Network and would like to meet with an RBP advisor then please email enquiry@christchurchnz.com.
Subsidies are granted at the discretion of ChristchurchNZ RBP Advisors.
You'll also need to meet the following eligibility criteria:
Have undergone an assessment with an RPB Growth Advisor;
Have fewer than 50 full time equivalent employees;
Are registered for GST in New Zealand;
Are operating in a commercial environment; and
Are a privately owned businesses, or are a Maori Trust or incorporation under the Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993 or similar organisation managing Maori assets under multiple ownership.
Given the ‘new normal’ of the post-COVID-19 environment, and with stopgap funding such as the Wage Subsidy ending soon, businesses need to think and act differently. This funding enables us to further support our clients to build the capabilities required to navigate a changing environment.
