Calvin Abbott

Calvin joined Kendons in August 2022 after moving to New Zealand from South Africa with his wife and two young boys.

From the management of start-up businesses (including one of his own) to being employed in various senior financial roles within multinational organizations, Calvin’s career spans 16 years across multiple commercial industries in both service and manufacturing. 

With a keen interest in systems and processes, he has championed the introduction of multiple ERPs as well as accounting software. Calvin thrives on helping clients evolve their businesses by integrating sound principles with the right technology and financial support.   

Outside the office, you’ll find him at Foster Park Park running every Saturday with his sons, Colby and Blake. Calvin is an avid long-distance runner. He also enjoys scuba diving with his wife, Alison, and boasts swimming with a whale shark is one of the top experiences of his life. He has a black belt in karate and is a big football and rugby fan.
